GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

AN EVENING OF PERFORMING ARTS” is happening tonight at 7pm at Stelly’s. Tickets are only $5.00 each. Tickets available in the office or the door. Performances by the beginner/intermediate dance class, Musical Theatre, Choir and Vocal Jazz classes. Everyone Welcome!

Semester 2 Timetables – Friday TA - End of Block 3 - There will be a very important TA on Friday at the end of Block 3 for students to pick up their semester 2 timetables. It is important to be there, as there have been changes in teachers and classrooms to many classes.

STELLY'S DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT FINALS are happening today at lunch in the Large Gym ... Come on out and cheer for your favourite team!  

Sr. Musical Theatre class presents "SHREK the MUSICAL" starting Feb 4th through Feb 8th,2020.  Tickets are available for sale at lunch in the main foyer or at the office. Buy your tickets soon ... as they are selling fast!

Italy Spring Break 2021 - Visit Italy for 11 days during your Spring Break of 2021! We will arrive in Milan and the visit Venice, Florence, Assisi, Rome, Pompeii and Capri. This tour is organized by EF Tours and hosted by Ms Liberatore from Stelly's. Please contact Ms Liberatore for more information.

CENTRAL SAANICH LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL REGISTRATION is now open! Next Registration date is, Sat Jan 25th, Jan 26th, Feb 1st & Feb 2 from 1-4pm at the Central Saanich Little League Clubhouse in Centennial Park.

TRAINING & EDUCATION:

Explorations in Technology SPOTS STILL AVAILABLE: Registration is ongoing for TEAC 105 (Engineering Sampler-Civil, Mechanical, Electronics and Computer), taking place at Camosun through the South Island Partnership. There are still spots for Feb 2020. Talk to your counsellor today, if you're interested!

“TOUR OF INDUSTRY FOR YOUTH” - Explore a local industry via guided tour. This is an opportunity for students to meet local  businesses and hear about positions they might not have thought of as careers. Wages are well beyond minimum, & the companies have lots to offer. See the poster on the Career Centre Info Board for dates / times. As this is an event held outside the classroom, students will be responsible for making their own arrangements to miss a day of classes and for transportation to the venue. GRAD 2020

BOTTLE DRIVE FOR GRAD 2020: The next Grad bottle drive is this Saturday, January 25th from 9:00am-12:00pm to raise money for the After Grad 2020. The Bottle Drive schedule co-insides with the Community Recycling and soft plastics drop-off at Stelly’s each month.

INTERNATIONAL

SISP Mt. Washington Ski Trip -March 5 & 6 -Cost $250.00 -Package includes Bus Transportation, Accommodation, Snow Tubing, Lift & Ski/board Rental, Ski/Board Lessons. Forms are available in the International Office. Last day to Sign-up is Feb. 12.

PARENTS/COMMUNITY

PARENTS AS EDUCATORS & CAREER COACHES -  Jan 30th   Are you the parent of a high school student? Would you like to help them with their post-secondary choices? This is an interactive workshop designed to give you the skills and confidence you need.  Educational Planner is presenting "Parents as Education and Career Coaches" on THURSDAY January 30th at Stelly's Secondary School, at 6:30 pm.
