Hello Grad 2020 families,
The majority of families have expressed interest in participating in a car procession as a way to celebrate your grads success in completing their years in public school. In order to do this in a safe way, that is compliant with Dr. Bonnie Henry's orders, we will just be joining into traffic at a certain time, going over a certain route. We will not be congregating at any point along the route in any way shape or form. We are thinking this will take place on the day the grad video is released, June 26. More information to follow on this as we get closer to that day. If things change between now and June 26, we will have to revisit this decision regarding the car procession.
We have the opportunity to order car banners for your car if you are participating in the car procession at the end of June when the grad video is released (please see attached). Or just to have even if you are not participating in the procession around the community. They are $15.00 plus taxes, ($16.80 in total), and Horizon Signs will be making them up for us. The preferred method of payment will be etransfer, and if that does not work for you, you can bring a cheque or cash when picking up. We will need your order before June 14 to ensure we have the banners ready for the end of June. Please send your orders to Nicole at nicolezimmelbains@gmail.com before sending an etransfer so she can confirm name spelling. We aim to have them ready for pick up the Tuesday or Wednesday before the video launch.
