"Women in Need" is a charity in Victoria that has programs that help women in our community. If you can donate items, please drop off in Ms. Lizama's room (150). There are limited seats available for next year’s Quarter 3 Trades Exploration Program, provided in partnership with Camosun College. SAANICH SKILLS TRAINING APPRENTICESHIP & CARPENTRY PROGRAM is a full 2nd semester immersion program where students learn the basics of constructing a wood frame structure from the bare ground to the rooftop. This program blends both theoretical knowledge and practical application of skills and concepts related to the trade. Successful students transition directly to Camosun College for further training as Level One Carpentry Apprentices. Please see Ms. Hackman in the Career Centre for more information.
LANDMARK DENTAL CENTRE (#213 - 2506 Beacon Ave, Sidney, BC) - Is now hiring an Office Concierge for Friday’s from 7:45 am to close (no later than 3:30) $14.60 hr. Duties include having patients follow all Covid-19 protocols: using hand sanitizer, taking patients temperature (no touching involved), going through a pre-screening questionnaire regarding travel and symptoms with patients, having patients fill out a health history update and Covid-19 acknowledgement form, sanitizing work stations between patients, and sanitizing reception area and, filing and pulling charts.
