Hey Stingers ... Pink Shirt Day is happening next Wednesday, February 24th – this day is celebrated annually around the globe. Pink Shirt Day began in Canada in 2007 when two students who took a stand against bullying after a 10-year-old was harassed and threatened for wearing pink. We have some Awesome Looking Pink Shirts for sale in the main office ... only $10 each … come check them out!
Did you know that Fredericton-born Willie O'Ree was the first black player in the National Hockey League. O'Ree made his debut with the Boston Bruins in the 1957-58 season. O'Ree later played in the Western Hockey League before retiring in 1979. Come to the Learning Commons to learn more about Black history.
STELLY'S 2021-2022 COURSE SELECTION FORMS - Available Monday, Feb. 22nd - Course selection forms for our current Stelly's students will be handed out on Monday, February 22nd. Course selection forms and Registration Packages will be posted on the Stelly's website on the same day for new applicants to Stelly's.
MASKS: Reminder that masks are required at all times when students and staff are in hallways and washrooms. Everyone's cooperation is much appreciated.
STUDENT PARKING: Reminder to all students who are parking in the student parking lot... you need to be registered. Parking forms are available in the Main Office.
STUDENT ABSENCE OR LATE: If a student will be absent or late for class, we ask that parents/guardians either email stellys_attendance@saanichschools.ca or phone the Attendance Line 250-544-0300 to let the school know.

ALERT FIRST AID with CPR ”C” & AED - Online and in class - Friday, April 23, 2021 - 12:00 am to 4:00 pm in class @ SHOAL Centre in Sidney. Cost is $50.00 - Cash, cheque or credit card is accepted. 4 hours online and 4.5 hours in-class course trains people how to react and improvise during time priority and life-threatening emergencies. The online component covers care for adults, children, and babies. The classroom component will focus on developing the participant’s skills. The instructor will know that participants have completed the online component, and won’t spend as much time on the background information that is covered here. Participants must successfully complete both the online and the classroom components to be certified in Emergency First-Aid with CPR C .
