FOR GRADE 11 & 12 STUDENTS ONLY!  Hurry deadline is 15th April.  You are invited to take part in CPF's famous French Public Speaking contest, Concours!  Chers juges, chers parents, chers professeurs et chers amis, students who study French in Grade 11 and 12 should submit their traditional Concours d'art oratoire videos by April 15, 2021!   The rules remain the same as previous years: 3 to 5-minute speeches, non-fiction, one take to camera – no video editing allowed.  BC & Yukon students can submit their entries through CPF Manitoba.   Deadline: April 15, 2021   Learn more here  https://on.cpf.ca/en/concours-dart-oratoire/     What are the prizes?   Students who win 1st place in their category receive a $4,000 scholarship to York University Glendon Campus.  Grade 11 and 12 winners in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in Ontario moves on to the CPF National finals for an opportunity to win big university scholarships!

SEEKING NEW CPF VOLUNTEER REP FOR STELLY'S - The CPF Saanich Chapter will be hosting its’ AGM on May 6th at 7.30 pm - this will be an online ZOOM meeting.   Please consider attending and perhaps volunteering or better still, apply to the be new CPF Stelly's rep 2021-22!     This could be especially of interest to Grade 11 parents, who may wish to participate in the K/12 gift exchange or FI grad events in 2022 - without volunteers, nothing happens!  We work with French teachers in SD63 to bring additional fun, French learning opportunities, and celebrations within our schools.   Nominations are invited for all positions including CPF rep for Ecole Stelly's  - please visit the Chapter’s Facebook page for details or feel free to email CPF.Saanich@gmail.com
