TODAY THE CAFETERIA has the choice of a Meatball Sub, Clubhouse Wrap, Chicken Caesar Salad, Meat Ravioli in a creamy Spinach Garlic Sauce, Thai Coconut Mango Chicken rice with Naan Bread, Perogies or homemade Hawaiian, Cheese or BBQ Chicken Pizza. Come on down and check it out!
PARENT TEACHER NIGHT - THURSDAY, MAY 27th from 5:15pm - 7:30pm for Quarter 4. This will also be an Early Dismissal Day at 2:05pm. We will be conducting all Parent/Teacher interviews either by phone, by email, or by a Microsoft Teams (Teams) remote video connection. A link is posted on the Stelly's website for registration. An appointment for a conversation with your child’s teacher can be made by following the link. Each appointment booked will be for 10 minutes.

Attn STELLY'S PERFORMERS! The Performing Arts Executive is hosting a virtual Coffee Concert to be filmed on Monday, May 31st and Wednesday, June 2nd in the MPR. Auditions are by video submission. For more information, sign up on the sheet outside of the band room by Thursday, May 27th.
GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES BOOK DRIVE: Students from Global Perspectives 11 are collecting children and parenting books to donate to the YMCA Young Moms program. Donations will be collected in the main foyer until the end of May. Any book donation is greatly appreciated!

STUDENT PARKING: Reminder to all students who are parking in the student parking lot... you need to be registered. Parking forms are available in the Main Office.

TEAC 105 - EXPLORATIONS IN TECHNOLOGY - Calling All Technology & Engineering Enthusiasts… TEAC is a Dual Credit course that provides an introduction to careers and basic skills in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Civil Engineering and Computer Science. This 4-credit course, Friday nights from 3:00- 6:00 at the Camosun Interurban Campus 3 hours per week, for 13 weeks. ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE - Please join the District Youth Exchange Committee to find out more about the short term and long-term student exchange opportunities we are looking forward to in 2022/23 and the positive impact the program can have. They are holding a district wide information session Wednesday June 2nd @ 6:30pm via Zoom for all students who are interested in going on exchange in the 2022/23 school year. Anyone interested in finding out more about the program is welcome to attend: students, youth exchange officers, counselors, family and friends of potential students. CAMP IGNITE – SUMMER 2021 - Camp Ignite is a Youth Fire Fighter Mentorship Program for grade 11 & 12 girls, ages 16-18 that educates and inspires young women about careers in firefighting. This camp offers girls an introduction to the world of firefighting as well as learning about fitness, nutrition, health and teamwork. The plan this year is to run a 2-day camp (no overnight) on August 14 & 15; one day in Vancouver and one day in North Vancouver. Saanich Fire is looking to sponsor one grade 11 or 12 girl to attend. SKILLS CANADA VIRTUAL NATIONAL COMPETITION - June 15, 2021 5:30am to 1:30PM PST - This event will be offered virtually this year and will also include online challenges and demonstrations for youth across Canada. SAANICH YOUTH LEADERSHIP SUMMER PLACEMENT PROGRAM - Are you interested in spending your summer working with kids? Do you want to be a leader in your community and work with diverse individuals? This summer, Saanich is offering a Mentored Placement Program for youth 14–17 years old. Participants in this program will have the chance to work in an outdoor camp setting with kids and a personal staff mentor. It is a great stepping stone for youth who are interested in one day working in community recreation, education, social work, athletics, human services, child and youth care, ECE IT recreation and health education and so much more. A REMINDER TO GRADE 12 STUDENTS that you need to pay your fees and return your overdue books before the Grad filming day on June 12th: 22 students have overdue books and 40 students owe fees. MAGIC WAND PROJECT - Magic Wand Project is a non-profit organization that offers an inexpensive and eco-friendly alternative to grad outfits for both girls and boys. This is a chance to borrow, rather than buy, a dress, suit or tux, (a small fee for cleaning is the only charge). All outfits are new or like-new, and all accessories are included.
