SWIM CLUB: All students interested in swimming for fun and fitness---we are looking for local and intenational students interested in trying the swim team this year! Meeting today in room 40 today at lunch. This is a great group of students and w have an awesome coach lined up for this year. Bring your lunch and a friend!! Meeting starts at 11:35. TEAC 105 - EXPLORATIONS IN TECHNOLOGY - Calling All Technology & Engineering Enthusiasts… TEAC is a Dual Credit course that provides an introduction to careers and basic skills in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Civil Engineering and Computer Science. This 4-credit course, Friday nights from 3:00- 6:00 at the Camosun Interurban Campus 3 hours per week, for 13 weeks. The BC RCMP Community Policing Services is recruiting volunteers for the 2021-2022 BC RCMP Youth Advisory Committee (BC RCMP YAC). The purpose of the BC RCMP Advisory Committee is to represent the youth voice within the RCMP and to gain insight on how the RCMP can deliver effective youth strategies and initiatives. If chosen as a youth advisor, participation will run from October 2021 to June 2022.
Tripleshot CrossFondo which is a 45+ ride of backcountry trails in Victoria BC. This event is a fundraiser for the Tripleshot Cycling Club Youth Racing Team, and also raises money to support the South Vancouver Island Nature Trail Society and the South Island Mountain Bike Society. PARENT COMMITTEE for GRAD 2022 BOTTLE DRIVE is happening on Saturday, September 25th from 9am-12pm at Stelly's School. Please consider volunteering for 1, 2 or all 3 hours. Please bring a mask and gloves, we will have a sanitizing station also. This bottle drive is HUGE and is contributing lots to the year end grad 2022 event parents are helping with. You can also drop your bottles off anytime throughout the year at one of the three Bottle Depots in Victoria (Glanford, Quadra and Queens) and ask for the funds to be added to the Stelly's Parent Grad Account.
