Three times a year the Stelly's Grads, parents and volunteers help to sort recyclable bottles at the Saanichton Farm on Stelly's X Road to help raise money for the Stelly's Aftergrad celebration. There is great support from the community as lots of bottles are dropped off 24/7 at the Saanichton Farm. This year we raised $6843.25 and also participated in the Encorp bottle recycling contest and Stelly's placed third and won $500. This amount was matched by The Bottle Depot (Glanford) for a total of $1000. The Saanichton Farm family donates their land, machinery, and time to store and help with this fundraiser. We appreciate all the support from the community in making this a huge success. Bottles can be dropped off at the Saanichton Farm anytime and the proceeds will now go to the grad class of 2013.
