VICTORIA – Anna Kratofil always finds herself busy, and most of that busyness results from her being such a talented young musician. A grade 12 student at Stelly’s Secondary School, Anna has been heavily involved in the school’s musical theatre program for years where she helps organize the school band’s shows.

She also plays flute with her school’s band, as well as with the Greater Victoria Youth Orchestra. She plays piano in her spare time, and is currently studying for her grade nine piano conservatory exam later this year.

She teaches piano in an effort to raise funds to travel with her Global Perspectives class to Nepal in March. While there, she’ll perform relief work at a small village.

She does all of this while maintaining a straight-A average. She hopes to attend either UVIC or McGill University next year. Because of all this and more, Anna Kratofil is truly an Amazing Kid.
