Stelly's Students attend Trades Expo at Parkland and View/Compete in Skills Canada Competitions at Camosun

Thank you to all of those students who attended the Trades Expo at Parkland (Feb 27th) and the Skills Canada Competitions at Camosun (Mar 1st)!

Both events were amazing showcases that put our local Saanich District trades talent on display - our students were especially lucky to connect with young apprentices (many of them recent Stelly's graduates) to gain firsthand knowledge in a variety of trades at the Trades Expo, as well as see our own Stelly's students competing at the Skills Canada Competitions at Camosun!  A big congratulations goes out to all of our Skills Canada competitors:

Welding - Nicky Mar,  Paul Murowinski, Reed Brady

Cabinet Making - Gary Powell, Adam Johnson, Kimberly Jones

Automotive - Dominic Moniz, Cody McGimpsey,  Zack Guy,  Jordan Blake

Carpentry - Wesley Holden, Malcolm Hemsworth

Cooking - Devon Fietz, Matt Jackson, Apryl Sweenie, Adam Carr

Culinary Arts Zack Guy Gary Powell

A special congratulations goes out to our three Gold Medal winners who will be moving on to the Provincial Skills Canada competitions on April 17th:

A tremendous accomplishment to be sure - well done boys, and good luck at the Provincials ... we will be rooting for you!
