A huge congratulations to Sofie Kennedy who represented BC at numerous rugby events throughout the summer. She has also been selected to attend a national training camp later this year. Here are some of her accomplishments:
-Represented Vancouver Island on the U18 ‘Tsunami’ team and competed in the Provincial Regional Championship (15’s) - won silver
-Played again with the Tsunami in the Victoria 7’s tournament - won gold
-Represented BC on the U18 team (15’s) and played at the Western Championships in Kelowna…she scored the winning try in the last play of the game! - they won Gold against the Prairie Wolfpack
-Played again with U18 Team BC against the US National U18 team…great experience for them.
-Selected to the U18 National Team long list and travelling to Ontario in October for the first training camp
