GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

STUDENT PARKING    A reminder to all students who are driving cars to school:  all cars must be registered if you are parking in the student parking lot.  Please come to the office to pick up a registration form.

ATTN SMOKERS: Meeting on Monday at lunch in Room 152 regarding the Stelly's Smoke Pit! Bee There!

Grade 9 Immunization & Student Forms - Please make sure all paperwork is returned to the office ASAP.

ATHLETICS

SAANICH PENINSULA U18 Girls Fun Night League Basketball - No experience necessary. Games are at  Bayside Middle School on  Monday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. from October, 2016 to March, 2017.  Cost:  $50  Registration:  through Panorama Recreation Centre - contact:  Jason Gray at 250-656-7271

FALL SAILING ...Any students interested in Sailing this Fall please see Mrs.Bennett in the Counselling office. No Experience Necessary!

CLUBS

Yearbook Meeting at lunch in Rm 136

Ballroom Dance Club will begin on Tuesday Sept. 27th after school in the MPR. Come on out and join this fun activity...No Experience necessary... Everyone Welcome!

CAREER CENTRE

CUE (Canadian Universities Event) event this year is happening at Glenlyon Norfolk School (801 Bank Street) in their Gudewill Gym on Monday Sept.26th from 7:30pm to 8:30pm.  There will be representatives from more than 40 universities across Canada at this event.

FIREFIGHTER RESCUE CAMP - Interested in attending a Firefighter Camp over spring break this year? Come to the Career Center to find out more info!

WORK EXPERIENCE 12A & B  -  Any students wishing to register for Work Experience Credit this year please see Mr. Rhodes in the Career Centre ASAP . You are able to earn 4 credits for each registered course while working at your paid job or working in a volunteer capacity for an organization.
