GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
REPORT CARDS: Report Cards are available for pick up from the office!
PARENT TEACHER INTERVIEWS: Parent Teacher Interviews are on Thursday, May 3rd from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Appointment bookings are online. Early Dismissal on Thursday at 2:03pm.
HOMEWORK HELP: Don't forget...Homework Help is available everyday in the Learning Commons starting at 7:30am and after school until 4pm.
ATHLETICS
KAYAK & PADDLING CLUB: Interested in kayaking or paddling? We are starting at club at Stelly’s this month!. Come to a meeting on Wednesday at lunch in Room 112 to find out more! If you can;t make the meeting see Ms. Matheson for more details! The club will hopes to start the week of May 14 and run until the week of June 4th (4 weeks), it will run two hours a week between 3 and 6pm. The club will run out of Pacifica Paddlesports in Brentwood. Cost is $15 a week for rentals.
CAREER CENTRE
Interested in an Exchange Experience to Europe with OSEF? OSEF-ASBL, is accepting applications for a 3 month Student Exchange or a 1 month Summer Exchange. Students must be 13 to 17 years of age - application deadline is May 15th. GRAD 2018
MANDATORY GRAD MEETING THURSDAY, MAY 3rd in Block 3. All Grads must be present to vote for Class Valedictorian!
GRAD PACKAGES are NOW OVER DUE! The list of eligible Grads will be posted tomorrow, May 2nd! If you have NOT handed in your package ....you will NOT be on the list!
GRAD TRANSITION INTERVIEWS: If you have not yet done your Grad Transition Interview....Check the List posted on the Counselling or Career Centre doors for your May 9th interview times.
District Scholarship Applications
Reminder that the deadline to hand in applications for District Scholarships is May 15th, 2018
MAGIC WAND
The Magic Wand is a non-profit organization that offers an eco-friendly and inexpensive alternative to grad outfits for both girls and boys. The Magic Wand is for ANY grad to borrow a dress or tux, rather than buy (a small fee for cleaning is the only charge). All outfits are new or like-new, and all accessories are included.
