GRADE 9 to 12 AND BEYOND EVENT is happening this evening from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Discover the diverse academic and unique opportunities available here at Stelly's! Presentations on High school programs, Post Secondary options, Grade level courses, Trades and Career Options, Travel Options and much more! This is a great opportunity for you to talk to representatives from UVIC & Camosun.

Hey Stelly's... Next Wednesday is Pink Shirt Day!  Wear your pink shirt with pride to say you stand up against bullying.  Don't have a pink shirt?  Social Leadership students will be selling a limited number of anti-bullying buttons in the main foyer next week for $2.  All profits will go to the Pink Shirt Day campaign. 

Reminder that Indigenous Leadership meets at Lunch today. Please be prompt as we have a guest speaker today!

Reminder as usual there is Band practice after school!

Stellys’ next Coffee Concert is on March 13th. Audition sign up sheets are posted on the band room door.

ATHLETICS

Any girls 9-12 interested in playing soccer this year for the school, please come to a meeting Friday at lunch in the big gym. Tryouts will start next week.

Could all basketball players please return their uniforms to Mr. Braun in the PE office.  

CLUBS

African Aids Angels: The Youth In Action club would like to invite you to an event on Monday, February 25 after school.  We will be making cloth angels as a fundraiser for children in Africa who have been orphaned by AIDS.  Each angel kit is $5.00.  The African Aids Angels organizers will tell us about their programs and teach us to make the kits.  Free snacks provided by Youth In Action.  See Mrs Wallace in room 108 for more information and to sign up.

CAREER CENTRE

CAMOSUN INFO NIGHT 2019 - Thursday, February 28, 5:30 – 8pm - Lansdowne campus

Come out to Camosun’s Lansdowne campus for Info Night 2019! This is your chance to see what Camosun has to offer you. Talk to instructors and program experts, from Interurban and Lansdowne campuses, about the subjects you’re interested in and get the answers you need to make the decision that’s right for you. There will be campus tours throughout the evening and snacks will be available.  Bring your friend! Bring your mom! Bring your kids! Class Afloat offers both study and travel opportunities, onboard their majestic tall ship, and have just released their2019-2020 Voyage details. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteers needed for Spring Fair Fundraiser @Heritage Acres – Sat. May 18th 8:30-2:30. Volunteers are needed for games, bouncy castles, inflatable obstacle course, inflatable horse race game, face painting, cotton candy machine and concession. There is also an opportunity to dress up as a PRINCESS or SUPERHERO character for 4 hour shifts?  Great opportunity for your credits for Work Experience or Grad Transition This event is put on by the Brentwood Elementary School PAC.  Contact Pam at paclunch@brentwoodpac.ca

YMCA Summer Work Student Exchange is a national program offering opportunities for youth to improve their second official language skills, explore another part of Canada, and gain valuable work experience through a work placement while on the exchange.The program runs for 6 weeks (early July to mid August), you must be 16 or 17 years of age during the summer program.
