Hey Stelly's... Next Wednesday is Pink Shirt Day! Wear your pink shirt with pride to say you stand up against bullying. Don't have a pink shirt? Social Leadership students will be selling a limited number of anti-bullying buttons in the main foyer next week for $2. All profits will go to the Pink Shirt Day campaign.
Reminder that Indigenous Leadership meets at Lunch today. Please be prompt as we have a guest speaker today!
Reminder as usual there is Band practice after school!
Stellys’ next Coffee Concert is on March 13th. Audition sign up sheets are posted on the band room door.
ATHLETICS
Any girls 9-12 interested in playing soccer this year for the school, please come to a meeting Friday at lunch in the big gym. Tryouts will start next week.
Could all basketball players please return their uniforms to Mr. Braun in the PE office.
CLUBS
African Aids Angels: The Youth In Action club would like to invite you to an event on Monday, February 25 after school. We will be making cloth angels as a fundraiser for children in Africa who have been orphaned by AIDS. Each angel kit is $5.00. The African Aids Angels organizers will tell us about their programs and teach us to make the kits. Free snacks provided by Youth In Action. See Mrs Wallace in room 108 for more information and to sign up.

CAMOSUN INFO NIGHT 2019 - Thursday, February 28, 5:30 – 8pm - Lansdowne campus
Come out to Camosun’s Lansdowne campus for Info Night 2019! This is your chance to see what Camosun has to offer you. Volunteers needed for Spring Fair Fundraiser @Heritage Acres – Sat. May 18th 8:30-2:30. Volunteers are needed for games, bouncy castles, inflatable obstacle course, inflatable horse race game, face painting, cotton candy machine and concession. There is also an opportunity to dress up as a PRINCESS or SUPERHERO character for 4 hour shifts? YMCA Summer Work Student Exchange is a national program offering opportunities for youth to improve their second official language skills, explore another part of Canada, and gain valuable work experience through a work placement while on the exchange.The program runs for 6 weeks (early July to mid August), you must be 16 or 17 years of age during the summer program.
