GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

ORANGE SHIRT DAY: Stelly's recognizes Orange Shirt Day this MONDAY September 30. This is a nationally commemorated day to remember the survivors of Residential Schools while affirming that all children are valued in our community. Let's show our support for reconciliation and human rights. Wearing orange helps us all to share in this important message. Every Child Matters.

CANADIAN UNIVERSITIES EVENT: Reminder to students to hand in your field trip forms to the Career Centre for the Canadian Universities Event happening next Tuesday. Meet representatives from 45 universities from across Canada all in one location! Don’t delay, get your form in today!

WORK EXPERIENCE: Just a reminder to students that are interested in signing up for Work Experience credits that the paper work is due. Please drop by the Career Centre for more info if you are interested!

Homework Help is available every morning from 7:10am in the Learning commons and after school on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday til 4pm.

CLUBS

ART CLUB: Interested in exploring different Art Mediums or challenges? Check out the Art club that is starting next Tuesday, Sept 24th  after school . Cost is $30 for this semester.  Everyone Welcome!

MODEL UN: Are you interested in politics, international relations, or the United Nations? Do enjoy debate, discussing current world issues, and want to develop your public speaking skills? Join the Stelly's Model UN club! Meetings are on Monday's at lunch in Room 105.

BOTTLE DRIVE FOR GRAD 2020: The First Bottle drive on this School Year is September 28th from 9:00am - 12:00pm to raise money for the After Grad 2020. The Bottle Drive schedule coinsides with the Community Recycling and soft plastics drop-off at Stelly’s each month. Please contact Corinna Laird  by Phone or Text 250-818-3893 if you are avialable to volunteer and help out.
