GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Interested in playing card or board games? Room 172 will be open for drop in games today at lunch. Come learn a new game or bring one of your own to share. Everyone welcome!
Homework Help is available every morning from 7:10am in the Learning commons and after school on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday til 4pm.
ATHLETICS
Any Boys Grade 9-12 interested in playing Basketball this year please come to a meeting at lunch on Friday in the large Gym.
CLUBS
Indigenous leadership class at lunch in room 152. Please don't be late as we have a guest speaker!
Stelly's Overwatch Team ....short information meeting in lab 137 today right after school
BOOK CLUB: Interested in starting up a book club, meeting in the library on Wednesday at lunch. There will be snacks and tea waiting for you while we decide what the club should look like and gab about our favourite books! See Magen in Bishop or Heywood's class for more info.
GRAD 2020
Grad Parent Information Night is happening on Thursday, October 10th, 2019 @ 7:00 pm in Stelly's Learning Commons. All parents/guardians are asked to attend this information session and learn about the many details of grad year ahead.
POINSETTIA PLANT FUND RAISER: Grads do you want to decrease your Grad Activity fees this year? Grad Poinsettia fundraiser order forms are now available on the Grad Board in the main foyer! Forms are due back Monday, November 18th, 2019.
GRAD PORTRAITS: Grads, it is time to book your grad photos. Lifetouch is bringing their portable photo studio to Stelly's at the end of October for Grad Portraits, October 28--Nov 7th, 2019. To book your appointment, please go to the website: schedule.prestigeportraits.ca Make sure you put "Saanichton" under city. Sitting fee of $25 is due at the time of your appointment (if you know you are not purchasing photos, no sitting fee is required, but we DO need you to have a photo taken for the yearbook). Information posters are posted around the school. Don't put this off until later, or all of the appointments will be booked up and you will run out of time!
