GOOGLE GSUITE ACCOUNT FORMS:  There are over 250 students that have not filled out the YELLOW GSuite for Education account forms! Those students that have not filled out these forms will have their google accounts deactivated on Friday. Forms available in the learning commons.

Are you interested in visiting London, Paris, Florence and Rome on Spring Break? If so, please come to a meeing in room 144 at lunch on Thursday or see Ms Liberatore anytime. Those who have already signed up, please come to this important meeting as well.

Photo Day
School photos will be taken next Monday September 17th.  Every student in every grade needs a photo taken for school I.D. purposes, even if you do not plan to purchase photos.


Swim Club - Today, the Stellys swim team had their first practice. We have a great mix of international students, new swimmers and experienced swimmers this year. Practices are on Tuesday and Thursday mornings before school, and we still have room for  a few more swimmers. Our Next practice is on Tuesday. See Mr. Siebert in room 164 if you are interested.

Sailing is starting soon for this Fall!!  The season will be September 22 - October 27, with a 2 hour session during the week and 3 hours on Saturdays (specific days/times tbd soon).  Whether you are experienced or brand new to sailing we are happy to have you join!! FIRE RESCUE YOUTH CAMP - Are you a candidate for the Gulf Island Fire/Rescue Youth Camp?

The next camp runs March 18-23, 2019. Applications are due November 16, 2018.  Wonder what it’s like to run into a building that everyone else is running out of? Think you could dangle off a rope 50 feet in the air? Want to make a difference? Wish you could help? Applicants must be 15 to 18 years of age.  Admission fee will be $200 per student. Upon completion, students qualify for 100 Work Experience hours, equivalent to 4 school credits. Details and application:

Food Safe Level 1  - Friday, October 19th, 2018 - (Pro-D Day)- 8:30 am to 4:30 pm - at the SHOAL Centre in Sidney - 10030 Resthaven Drive - Cost is $50. Food Safe is useful for anyone working or wishing to work in the food service, food retail, or food processing industries. You will learn how to handle food safely in order to prevent food from being contaminated.

Alert First Aid with CPR "C" & AED - Saturday, October 20th, 2018 - 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the SHOAL Centre in Sidney. Cost is $50.

Retail Training - *FREE* - This certificate program prepares you for first time work experiences in retail & many other work environments. You will be treated as an employee & you will be working alongside a busy team of staff members. This is a full day commitment on Sundays for 4 weeks each month. Train in working a cash register & counting cash, customer service, creating displays and more! Brentwood Bay and Sidney locations.

Central Saanich Terry Fox Community Run - Volunteers Needed
Sunday, September 16-  8:30 am to 11:00 am
Students will be in pairs and would be “extra marshals” helping to mark the route and encouraging runners/walkers/cyclists.
