WORK EXPERIENCE 12A/12B

Reminder that the Work Experience 12A / 12B registration deadline is September 28th! If you have a job or are volunteering and are wishing to receive Work Experience credits for this year, you must be registered by September 28th to receive credit for your hours!! This time can also count toward your grade 12 Grad Transition requirement.See Mr. Rhodes in the Career Centre to register ASAP!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Pumpkin Express Event” Volunteer opportunity October 19, 20, 21 from 4:30-8:30pm. Interested in helping with the preparation for this event (building scarecrows, decorating the forest areas the train runs through, etc.) Scarecrow building work party Saturday, Sept. 22 10am to 3pm. Volunteering during the event with supervision of craft tables, train track crossings, pumpkin carvings, haunted story walks, scavenger hunt. in the graveyard and face painting. Canucks Autism Network in Victoria is looking for Volunteers:

* I Can Swim Saturdays 4-5:45 Sept. 29th to Nov. 24th, at Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre

* I Can Play Sports and Be Active Saturdays 1:15-3, Oct. 10 to Nov. 28 at Royal Oak Middle School

* I Can Skate Saturdays 4:30-5:30, Sept. 29 to Dec. 8, at Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre.
