Saanich Fruit Growers Scholarship
To support outstanding School District 63 (Saanich) students who intend to pursue work or further education in agriculture, horticulture, or land use.
Donor: Saanich Fruit Growers' Association
Value: $1000 to each neighbourhood secondary school (Claremont, Parkland and Stelly's)
Criteria: To support outstanding graduating students who have demonstrated:
Academic success
Volunteer work or work experience in agriculture, horticulture or land use
Deadline: Annually on May 15th
Procedure: Students should submit the following documents to Mrs Laws:
1. A CV
2. A transcript of Grade 11 and Grade 12 marks, including predictions for the last
courses of Grade 12
3. A statement of future plans and goals
4. District application form (see Mrs Laws for updated copy)
Selection: Selection will be made by the School District 63 Scholarship Committee
