CRITERIA: This scholarship is to encourage young women graduates to seek higher education
  1. Must have proof of Canadian Citizenship
  2. Must be graduating from one of the following School District 63 schools: Stelly's, Claremont, or Parkland.
DEADLINE: Annually on May 15th
PROCEDURE: A District application form must be completed and submitted to Stelly's Scholarship Coordinator along with the following items:
  1. A photocopy of acceptance to the institution where she has chosen to study.
  2. A transcript of Grade 11 and Grade 12 school marks – including any government marks to date.
  3. Two letters of reference from other than family members.
  4. A resume, including jobs held, community involvement, volunteer work, family commitments or responsibilities.
  5. A covering letter explaining her ambitions for post secondary education and how this award will be valuable to her.
  6. Preference will be given to a student indicating financial need to the school’s satisfaction.
SELECTION

Final choice of the candidate will be determined by the Scholarship Committee from each School and will be based on academic merit as well as the factors outlined above.
